Variations On A Theme of Beethoven
- (2010) 13' - B/C grade
Theme and 8 variations based on the theme from Beethoven's 9th Symphony (Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee).
A general purpose piece - audiences know the melody - but the variations are interesting and enjoyable for both band and listeners.
The variations can be played as separate movements or played in a different order to that suggested.

Ideal for Salvation Army Corps bands or for community bands that want a piece in a traditional theme and variations style.
